Tour even longer

I just looked at the tour schedule again and they added a city at the beginning of the year: Denver. I emailed Keith to confirm and he said, that's correct, and he's already made all my hotel reservations for the whole tour. Thanks!

Stivers School of the Arts

The image “http://www.preservationdayton.com/schools/stivers.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. As my cousin Rich pointed out, Dayton is home for the Stivers School of the Arts, "the jewel of the Dayton school system." I hope to visit it!

San Jose

I went to San Jose to audit (sit in the pit and listen to) Peter Pan. The San Jose Center for the Peforming Arts is a nice facility. Behind the orchestra pit are rehearsal rooms and restrooms just for the musicians. This picture shows Keith Levenson, who prepared the keyboards for this show and plays Keyboard 3. He has done a great job. The string samples in the Gigastudio are incredible.

Instead of the usual Kurzweils, the show has Korg Tritons. They are nice keyboards but the patch changes aren't as smooth as with the Kurzweils. Every time you change the patch, you have to jog the volume pedal, or else the next sound comes out at full volume.

Keith also let slip that his girlfriend is MacKenzie Phillips. Posted by Hello
