Gigastudio

Another email from Keith --- the keyboard setup involves a Korg Triton, two Kurzweil modules, and a PC running Gigastudio. I was wondering when people were going to start using Gigastudio in shows. I'll be interested to see how he works it.
Keith has been working with Craig Barna for years; he did the programming for Cats at Music Circus.

Email from Keith

(San Jose Center for the Performing Arts)
I heard from Keith, the keyboardist, confirming that I will come to hear the show on Friday, Nov. 5. He says I might want to see it twice because "the technology is tricky." He also says that he isn't sure how many weeks he will need me because he isn't sure when his other tour is ending. Too bad! I really wanted to end my run in Philadelphia.

Finally heard from Craig; it's on.

He says that Keith, the keyboardist, is going to contact me directly. The company pays me for transportation between cities and Keith will pay for me to fly home from Philadelphia.

Nothing from Craig today

I still haven't heard back from Craig Barna, the conductor, about my date to come hear the show("audit")in San Jose. Keith, the current keyboardist, would teach me the show and then give me a book and tape so I could learn the part. We're so close to sealing the deal and I don't want the whole thing to fall apart now. I was planning to stay overnight with my cousins Rich and Doug (who I haven't seen in years) and then drive back on Saturday morning.

This is the Academy of Music. When I was a kid growing up in Philadelphia, I used to go to concerts here. I never dreamed that I'd ever play here. Posted by Hello

Got the schedule

Today I went to the Peter Pan website to download the schedule. Most of it is in the Midwest in the middle of winter, which is probably why the main keyboard player decided to take a vacation. But it has two weeks in Chicago, so Jennifer will want to visit, and it ends at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia! How cool is that?

Jennifer is worried that my plane will crash in a snowstorm. So touching!
