Billy and friends

I stayed overnight in Brooklyn with my high school friend Billy Aronson. He is currently the head writer for the kid's cartoon Wonder Pets. Every episode is a musical and they have enlisted such Broadway talents as Michael John LaChiusa, Jason Robert Brown, and Bobby Lopez. Billy also played me some rare CDs: the demo for J.R.Brown's new musical Thirteen, about a Jewish boy whose family moves from New York to Indiana, and the original demo of Rent, with Jonathan Larson singing all the songs. I told him, "You could sell that CD on eBay for a lot of money... before you went to jail."
